Dry creek bed of river rock carrying runoff away from a lawn in Columbia County, Georgia

Started with a truck and a push mower.

Born and raised right here in Augusta, GA, native Ryan Kroger started with a dream.

How a mowing route became a design firm.

Augusta native Ryan Kroger started “Country Dawgs Lawn Care” with a truck, a push mower and 200 feet of extension cords. The plan was never volume — it was customer service worth talking about.

Clients who trusted us with the grass asked about the beds, then the grade, then the patio. The company became Pebble Creek Designs and started drawing plans before digging — with a landscape architect on staff to draw them and a Certified Irrigation Contractor designing and auditing the water side of every property.

Today our own crews run our own equipment from Appling to Aiken. One firm handles the plan, the installation and the years of care that follow — which is why the design still looks like the drawing a decade later.

  • Founded in Augusta — serving the CSRA since 2009
  • Landscape architect and Certified Irrigation Contractor in-house
  • Our own crews on our own equipment, never subcontractors
  • Voted the CSRA’s best six times across two publications
