A typical residential paver patio runs about one to two weeks on site once we start, depending on size, access and how much grading and drainage work sits underneath it. Walls, outdoor kitchens and multi-level projects run longer. You get a schedule before the crew arrives.
It will change where water goes — that is unavoidable when you add an impervious surface. The difference is whether anyone planned for it. Because drainage is one of our own trades rather than a subcontractor's problem, the collection and discharge are designed into the hardscape plan from the start.
It will work or we will return. If the system we install does not solve the water it was designed to solve, we come back and correct it.
It should be. Grading and drainage go in before planting and hardscape — fixing water after the patio is set costs considerably more.
Yes — a large share of our irrigation work is diagnosing and correcting existing systems. Often the fix is re-zoning and a better controller rather than a full replacement.
A Wi-Fi controller with a rain or soil sensor adjusts to weather instead of running a fixed clock. On a typical Columbia County property that is a meaningful cut to the summer water bill, and better turf, because the lawn gets deep infrequent watering instead of a daily sprinkle.
